Senn’s began operating their innovative Drive-In Dairies beginning in the 1960s.

Senn’s Drive-in Dairies had several locations around town.

Senn’s Dairy Park now occupies their location at 112th & NE Prescott Street which was the site of their main plant.

In later years, Senn’s had their own restaurant in the Portland Building for a while. They featured Senn’s Ice Cream in a soda fountain style dip store. At their location at 42nd and NE Killingsworth, they had a bakery where they baked cinnamon rolls, pies and cookies.

The scans above came from a cardboard milk carrier that was given to me by Dennis Headrick. Thanks to Ken Selberg of Swan Island Dairy, a former ice cream maker at Senn’s Dairies for helping us with the history of Senn’s.
